Bruce Aube (Managing Partner | Research)
During Bruce’s 18-year career in communications research, he has developed and executed hundreds of successful primary research projects, providing critical intelligence for public relations and marketing strategies. Bruce integrates the diverse experience he has achieved across a wide range of industries, including high-tech, insurance, and consumer electronics and ranging from Fortune 500 companies to not-for-profit organizations to assist communicators in reaching their goals.
Bruce’s core areas of expertise include traditional and social media content analysis, awareness and perceptions surveys, internal communications audits and trade show event measurement. Whether tasked with measuring the impact of media campaigns, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of brand reputations or providing competitive intelligence, Bruce never loses sight of the primary objective at hand: equipping our clients with timely and trustworthy information to make more informed decisions and achieve success.
Bruce began his career in research at The Delahaye Group, displaying the passion, excellence and execution to quickly advance to Director of Survey Research. His experience continued at Atlantic Research and as Managing Director of KDPaine & Partners before and cofounding Symscio, LLC.
When he is not immersed in research, Bruce is passionately following his hometown Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Bruce currently lives in the town of Barrington, NH and earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at the University of New Hampshire.
Michael Layton (Managing Partner | New Business)
Mike combines his diverse experience in business and technology with a passion for research to help solve the measurement challenges facing today’s communicators. Having developed a broad range of measurement programs to deliver intelligence on competitive positioning, industry issues and campaign impact, Mike relishes the opportunity to create the ideal measurement program to assist in the advancement and achievement of client objectives.
Backed by a team of expert analysts and industry leading technology, Mike has the pleasure of truly listening to and understanding the nuances of a variety of measurement objectives and reporting requirements before introducing an approach and solution that best aligns with client needs and objectives. After all, meaningful measurement starts with identifying the right measures to assist decision making and gauge success and not with a cookie-cutter offering.
Prior to cofounding Symscio, Mike discovered his passion for measurement while at KDPaine & Partners where his wide-ranging skill set found him involved in managerial and leadership roles focused on dashboard development, account management, sales and marketing and client training and support.
Mike currently lives with his wife and two children in Dover, NH and earned a bachelor’s from the Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire with a concentration in Business Administration.
Olivier Gaudissart (Managing Partner | Technology)
Olivier’s impact on media measurement can be traced back over 24 years when he first brought The Delahaye Group out of the days of paper-based tallying process. Over this time, Olivier has continued to advance the role that technology plays in better measurement programs by expanding reporting capabilities, maximizing efficiency, increasing flexibility, improving quality control while reducing process time and program limitations.
Olivier combines a creative and technical mind with a philosophy that technology is best used to relieve the burden of routine tasks while removing any barriers required achieving client objectives. Olivier never loses sight of the fact that each measurement program, as well as the professionals who rely on them, face unique challenges and demand customized solutions. For this reason, Olivier always keeps his eyes on tomorrow, wielding magic through technology and saying “no problem” to the endless custom requests sent his way.
Following his early success at The Delahaye Group, Olivier started his technology consulting firm, Lore, Inc., where he continued to apply modern technology to solve the numerous challenges facing media measurement. In 2002, Olivier cofounded KDPaine & Partners, placing a professional measurement system in the hands of the daily practitioner. As cofounder of Symscio, Olivier has created our Integrated Measurement System (IMS), a culmination of his experience and expertise that delivers a flexible and dynamic tool for the detailed analyst and a transparent and easy-to-use reporting system for the strategic communicator.
Olivier currently lives with his wife and two children in Kittery, ME and earned a bachelor’s from the Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire with a concentration in Accounting and Finance.
